Our plant breeding program creates IP varieties of sorghum that provide our customers with products that meet the functional needs of their specific applications, from high antioxidant levels to increased freeze thaw stability. Nu Life Market has the expertise to recommend the variety and specification of sorghum for many applications such as extrusion, batch cook, and bakery. In 2020, Nu Life Market expanded capabilities into extrusion with the NutraEZ line of products. The exclusive patented technology pre-cooks whole grains and whole pulses to create clean label ingredients with multiple functional uses. Utilizing this technology, the NutraEZ line of products will include chickpeas, lentils, green and yellow peas, pinto beans, oats and sorghum, with the ability to create blends. Applications of the NutraEZ product line include vegan milk products, plant-based meats, sauces, spreads, extrusions, and bakery.
